Security infrastructure design and management

Haringey contracted Hytec in 2001 to design a secure and resilient web and third party access information security regime. This was completed successfully, and the Hytec were also commissioned to implement the infosec regime.

Haringey had recently outsourced the management of its ICT infrastructure, and, as planned, the management of the Hytec designed and installed system was transferred to Haringey's outsource partner.

Due to the inability of the outsource partner to supply a suitable service, for the management of this environment, emergency measures were taken to pass control back to Hytec.

Hytec successfully managed the environment again. Haringey re-let the master outsource contract in 2002, and after an extended handover / test period, control was passed to the new outsource company, with the exception of the Hytec designed Inter System File Transfer Facility, which provides mission critical data transfer facilities between Haringey's many partners, and itself, in a secure, auditable manner.
