ISO 27001 Information Security Management

In May 2006, Hytec became one of only a few UK organisations (134 worldwide) to have achieved certification to the ISO 27001 information security standard.

The assessment process, managed by an independent Auditor, required a detailed review of Hytec’s ISMS (Information Security Management System). 

The standard encompasses the security of all types on information in whatever form it may be held, used or communicated.  This includes information security policies, computer infrastructures, remote access for mobile users, authentication controls, information encryption and storage, back-ups, personnel and physical security.

Investor In People

Since April 2001, Hytec has continually satisfied external assessors that it meets the stringent standards associated with the Investors in People accreditation.

The most recent assessment report stated: "The company meets the Standard because it does things that make good organisational and business sense - not just to get the Investors in People 'badge'.  It welcomes feedback and uses this to continuously improve the development of the company and the people who work for it."

ISO 9001 Quality Management System
