October 2008: GCSx services prove popular with Socitm attendees

Exhibiting at the annual Socitm Conference at the plush Celtic Manor resort in Newport, Gwent, the Hytec stand was bustling for two days as delegates showed their interest in Hytec's services to enable GCSx Codes of Connection.

GCSx (the Government Connect Secure Extranet) provides connectivity to nearly all departments of central government. Allowing data sharing up to RESTRICTED level, GCSx is a key enabler in the drive to transform services, focusing on joined-up working, shared services, identity management and efficiency gains through secure communications.
